Internal resources can only be accessed from inside the Self-Help Center.

The Self Help Center is located on the first floor of the Merced Courthouse. There is an attorney on-site to assist you. A Spanish interpreter will be available on Mondays and Tuesdays. An average of 18 people per day will be seen as time allows.
Sign ups begin at 7:45 am in the Self-Help Center. Customers are seen on a first come, first serve basis.
PC's are available for public use and an intern is available to get you started on your paperwork. Forms and self-help materials are available on this web site, see the "Related Links" section list on the left side of this page.
The Self Help center provides assistance for the following case types:
- Landlord/Tenant (Unlawful Detainer or Eviction)
- Domestic Violence
- Family Law
- Name Change
- Guardianship of a Minor
- Conservatorship
- Civil Harassment
- Small Claims
