ADA - Americans With Disabilities Act

Access for Individuals with Disabilities

Court users, including jurors, parties in a case, witnesses, lawyers and others, can receive reasonable accommodations from the court if necessary to fully participate in court programs or services. For more information, please read the brochure For Persons with Disabilities Requesting Accommodations.

The Court normally requires at least 5 working days advance notification in order to provide an accommodation. If you are in need of an accommodation due to a disability please complete the MC-410 form and return it to the Court’s ADA Coordinator, Michelle McDonald.

Please note, the ADA coordinator will be basing his or her decision on the California Rules of Court, Rule 1.100, found on the Judicial Council's website. You may either submit the form MC-410 in person at a clerk's office, or mail it to the following location:

Attn: ADA Coordinators
627 W. 21st Street
Merced, CA 95340
Tel: (209) 725-4259

After the ADA coordinator makes a decision on your request, a response will be mailed back to you.
